SYE install (oil pump problem)
Hey guys i have an extra 231 from an identical cherokee as mine and im installing an sye into it.
Long story short i think there is a problem with this specific ones oil pump. The inside ring of the oil pump that should engage the main shaft is totally smooth, is this normal? has it been stripped? Do i need a new pump?
