ok so not to jack your thread and ad to the confusion grand v8 full time 4wd shaft vs 4.0 frontshaft is there really that much of a differance? my driveline angle is rediculious right now with about 4 inches under it. Second question i cant seam to answer, hack n tap vs sye kit witch one is shorter or are they about the same length?

the hack and tape with the flat yoke is probabaly the shortest. However you can find several different length front shafts to accomodate almost anything you need.
I got the longer style yoke with a front ds at almost 5'' of lift, and looks like I can maybe get 6.5'' lift before I need a longer front driveshaft on the rear.
