Sye drive shaft opitions....?
So im looking for a sye kit. And im really tight on money right now, so if i was to order the kit i know i need a new drive shaft. I have heard that the front drive shaft from a grand cherokee will work as a rear drive shaft on a 4 door xj with a sye.. Is this true? Any info would be really cool.
If anyone has a rough country or rustys offroad sye installed, if u could messure the length of ur drive shaft, or if anyone knows where to get a really good deal on a sye kit or a way to get around having a slip yoke?

I'm running the AA SYE and a front shaft out of an auto xj, i've been running it for 2 years now with no problems. I have about 250 bucks into the whole set up.

Thx guys. Where did u get ur AA sye kit 1994xj? And thx glee.... Im just trying to find a cheap but good and strong way to get by without a slip yoke. I probly will go with his set up. It sounds good. So the front drive shaft bolted right up? No need to fab or alter anything? That sounds like my best bet. Thx guys

I have the AA kit and a stock front shaft is too short. So I run a custom Tattons shaft. Guaranteed, and pretty cheap check them out if you end up needing a shaft.

Xjjeeper. I have a np231. Is the hack and tap any better or worse then the sye kit? Because they are about the same cost... Atleast the ones i have found. For a 92 xj.
