Default SYE alternative option

I am going to do a 4.5" lift. I know I am going to need a SYE, but I have heard a 1 inch t-case drop kit will make it so I don't need a SYE. is this true. I don't do to much hard core wheeling, mostly just a little mudding in fields.

I have a 1" tcase drop on my 4.5, and I lose fluid around the yolk. it'll get ya by for a little while, but you're going to need an SYE

I have also wondered this. I believe it to be so. I also considered a 1'' Motor Mount Lift. No doubt, the SYE is better, but i think these ez'r alternatives would get u by. My $0.02...

I was at 5" with my 97,wheeled the crap out of it with no tcase drop or sye or vibes.I probably was just lucky.I am building this 95 now and I hope it works out like the other. But I did order a tcase drop to get me through if I need it.

no, it's getting slung up around the tunnel because the yoke is sliding out too far.

If ur yolk is sliding completely outa the seal, u got some serious spring wrap or sumthin goin on. Or the wrong drive shaft. Either way it's not because of the 1" t-case drop.
