Sway bars
I know I should get rid of my rear sway bar but my dad won't let me lift my jeep with out it in there. I bought a rubicon express front drop bracket will I need one for the rear to or will the stick mounting work with 3 inches of lift.

What lift are you installing? I had a 3" Pro Comp lift with the add-a-leaf in the rear, which is really more like 2", and never pulled my rear sway bar. When I changed to the Rubicon Express 3.5 full leaf pack I had to remove it. BTW, when you are using a full leaf pack instead of add-a-leaf there is no noticable difference without the rear sway bar. The rear sway bar is so thin anyway it looks like it would just bend. I know where your dad is coming from, my 17 year old is going to get an XJ soon. I don't agree with pulling the front but the rear really is scrap metal once you add some good springs.

Get disconnects for the rear. If you plan on towing anything you'll want the rear sway bar. That way your dad is happy and you still get to remove it for wheelin.

That is why I was asking add-a-leaf or full pack. Just my opinion, with the AAL I would leave the sway bar on. I had mine on the Jeep for 4 years with my rear AAL and no disconnects and it was fine. If you really want to be able to unhook the rear then add discos.

Ya I got used leafs from a guy and I'm using my main leaf plus my aal so I hope its more like 3-4 inch in rear and not just 2
