Default Warn m8000 solenoid questions

Having a couple problems with a few winches I have and need some clarification on them.

Currently on my Jeep I have a broken Badlands 12k winch, it was on the Jeep when I bought it and the last time I went to use it (late November) it worked just great. Over the winter though the disengage/engage lever rusted and ended up breaking off so there is no way to test if it still works.

I recently purchased a used Warn m8000 winch and was told the solenoids were either bad or wired wrong. I figured I would just take the m8000 and hook it up to the solenoid pack that was used with the Badlands 12k and it should be fine right? I hooked the m8000 up and all I got was click noises out of the solenoids.

Am I not able to use these solenoids on the m8000?

If I rewire the solenoids on the Warn box and they truly are broken, any recommendations as to what I should replace them with?

If I can use the solenoids for the Badlands with the m8000 any reason as to why they would just click and not move the winch?

Thanks Guys!
