Hey guys. I have a 98 cherokee with 4.5 inch lift on 32's. I was thinking of taking off my front sway bar. I know this would give me more flex. What are some other good and bad things about doing this?
Bad thing is needing it attached if your state does annual vehicle inspections. I've had mine off for almost 3 years now and i've never had a single issue. That's with a 4.5" 3-link up front.

could always do disconnects on it.. have the sway for normal driving around town, then pull the pins for flex off-road.
I rolled around with mine disconnected for almost a year with no issues.. when I installed my long arm kit I hooked it back up with the dicos just because the kit came with them. don't know if they'll stay tho.. got so used to not having it that the jeep feels weird now. haha

Been running with no sway bars since last june, super flex offroad, on road I get lots of body roll.
I've heard quick disconnects will rattle, but that's just what I've heard, no real world experience.

lol. Yes. You are guaranteed to roll if you take the sway bar off. Get some disconnects.
