So I'm looking to get some more power out of the old xj. I was wondering if anyone had used one of these or know anything about them. http://www.superchargertuning.com/Jeep/Cherokee/

That's an odd looking supercharger. Looks more like a high powered fan that goes inside the intake

X2 plus not to be a negative Nancy but aren't super chargers like 1500 bucks a kit?

That's what I thought. I did some research and they claim it adds up to 80hp. It's a nice bolt on if it works. Was just wondering if anyone had some first hand info on this

JUNK!!! Once the set screw that holds the fan to the shaft falls out and gets sucked into the engine and destroys the valves, you'll end up spending more than 180 bucks.

There is no way I'd put that piece of plastic anywhere near my engine, that and there is no way that crappy motor could push enough air to make a difference.
although if you could find a way to strap a high powered leaf blower to your intake... just saying

No worries though, you wouldn't be the first one to ever bring up the question. Save your money.

After that all you need is an adjustable powerband, a boost bar, and an o pipe and you'll be burning rubber like no other! Here's where you can get what you'll need:

I got a set of blue cross drilled brake lines from them, my braking has never been this exciting!

I had one of those stupid things on my YJ. No, I did not install it it was on it when I baught it. The only thing it ever helped with was to drain the battery when i forgot to turn it off when I got to work. I dont know why I turned it on in the first place. It did nothing for power so in my eyes its nothing but a scam.

there is no way that fan forces enough air threw the motor to add that kinda power, if any, just like others have said save your money
