Default suggestions for lift upgrade?

Right now i have an add a leaf in the rear (which was supposed to do 2in. but got closer to 2.5) and daystar 1.75 coil spacers in the front. I want to go a little higher as the front is sitting a little lower than the back and i still have to duck to get my head in the car. I have 235/75/15 tires on.

Anyway just want to see what you guys would say would be the best way to get to maybe 3 or 3.5. should I try and build it up or should I just get a kit and get rid of the spacers and add a leaf. and at 3.5 would i need a new track bar?

I tend to over think these decisions and im in college so less money is better considering I have to buy a new computer soon.

Thanks

No such thing as over thinking it.. Better to measure twice, right? Besides do it once, do it right and save a headache and some cash. Look into a 3-3.5" kit. A new adjustable track bar, or a track bar relocation bracket are recommended. Also by staying under the 4-4.5" range you eliminate some of the steering/driveline changes you'd otherwise have to make. Still, if vibes end up being an issue, u joints, drive shafts, balance/rotation alignment and any number of bushings, arms or tre's could all be suspect.. Old jeep, old parts...

How long has the AAL been in because it will settle over time and prob end up being lower than the front.

your best bet would be too do what i did with my LA lift, i saved about 400-500 by peiceing it together, just get 3" front coils and then use ur coil spacers to give you 4.5 in the front, then just buy rear adjustable shackles thatll give you at least 2" so with the aal you will be at 4.5 in the rear, then you should just need new shocks, adjustable trac bar, steeribg stabalizer wouldnt hurt nor would new brakelines but those are not 100% needed. also tcase drop or sye will be needed at 4.5". id buy a tcase drop first n if that works your in luck if not youll havta spend a bit more for a sye but you can at least recoup some money back by selling the tcase drop. u can get all these parts from rouch country and jason here is a RC vendor so he offers 10% discount which would save you tons. on top of mixing together the parts you already have, or buy a new kit then sell what you have on ur jeep now too make some cash back. prolly your two best bets.

So if I were to buy a 3.5 what would be a good cheap option. And at 3.5 I need new lcas correct? If the kit didn't come with them

The RE 3.5 super ride is only 408.00 from 4WD hardware.

you could prob just slap some 3 coils in there and be good to go after you get the front axle all aligned. might have to drill the hole over for the trac bar.
