Scuba gear would be more user friendly, would ruin a day wheeling by getting the snorkel hung on an obstacle. Scuba, would be contained inside the cab, this is the only way to do this. One point not covered, replace mechanical fan with a switched Efan, exhaust stack, lots of back pressure, under water.
Something else to consider, vacuum hoses. Make sure they are all good and sealed.

My front diff is ran up to the hood on the firewall, Same with my trans breather, my rear diff is ran up and inside the back and tucked behind my interior panels behind my drivers tail lamp. I don't do water/mud, I hate cleaning and replacing parts due to water....
