Default Stuck crossmember stud

So I'm attempting to install a tcase drop. I got one of the studs for the crossmember out but I can't get the other one. I've tried heating it and vise gripping it, penetration oil. That **** won't come out. Any suggestions?

I sprayed it last night before I went to bed. Soaked all night. Still won't come out. Tried a pipe wrench too.

All you can do is keep heating it and soaking it in penetrating oil, eventually it will give. Hopefully not by breaking off the nut inside the unibody or breaking the stud.

Ive had good luck by tightening a stuck bolt or stud a little bit. Any movement you can get out of it is good.

After you get it out id recommend tapping all the holes to 7/16 x14. Its the next size up and allows you to use a little larger bolt. No need to pre drill before you tap them

You want to try heat the nut around the stud, not the stud itself, right? Could try grinding flats onto the stud and vise gripping those? I snapped both mine off, just drilled them out and tapped the nuts. Using cheap drill bits made that job not fun at all.

Keep going back and forth. It'll come out.

x2, if its moving then you're good. Just don't break it. I broke 3 of the 4 and ended up removing my seats and carpet to drill holes from the top to drop new bolts down through.
