Have a 2000 Cherokee and I want to do a rough country 3 inch lift but I'm tight on funds. I was wondering what the biggest tire size I can run on stock wheels and will I look to straight up after lifting if I stay with the stock wheels? Thank you

With the 3" lift i would get some 31x10.50 and those will look good on the lift and they will fit on ur stock rims. But if u do the lift i would def get bigger tires cause it will look weird if u dont

Don't rush into your lift. Search around. You can find cheap even used wheels that will give your jeep a nice wider stance. Craigslist can be your friend on this one. I'm in the process of doing my first lift. Been researching for about a month now and just today got my rubicon express lift delivered. I ran across a guy who had a garage full of xj parts. Doors, aftermarket wheels with 31"tires, to rockets, bumpers window glass. And much more and told me for $200 its all mine. I'm just saying take your time searching for your parts and you'll be able to save a ton.

31"x10.5" with no fender trimming. 32"x12.5" with fender trimming. and yes, that's with stock 8" wide wheels. i don't have that myself but i've seen plenty of Cherks look and work well with both.

Does anyone know what at 31x10.5 comes out to? My stock wheels are 16's. Like is it a 275/75/16? Thank you for the help

Your stock rims are 7 inches wide. 255 is the number i believe.
I think 31's look fine up to 6 inches of lift.
