Default Stock roof rack?

How would i go about putting a stock roof rack on my 94 Cherokee? is it as simple as going to a junk yard and taking it off one there and putting it on to mine or is it more complicated?
Thanks in advance for any help!!

I would just pick up an after market roof rack that connects to your rain gutters. To me that setup is stronger than stock, easy to assembly, and probably reasonable priced on Craigslist. You can also add a basket to this style easily for carrying heavier loads like tires and what not.

If it came without one from the factory then it won't just bolt on, they didn't come with the mounting holes and welded in threads to run bolts in. You'll have to mount a rack to the gutter.

You will need mounting brackets that mount to the rain gutter rails or inside of your rails on top.

You're probably not going to find one at a jy. There are several different styles of roof racks/baskets out there. Find the one you like best and start price shopping. There are a few rack/basket builds on here that you may want to look at.

I have a complete Yakima system that I would sell you. It is definitely a stout setup, much better than the stock rack. I have had, canoes, kayaks, bikes, deer, logs, etc... attached to that thing. PM me if you are interested, we can talk more.
