Default "Stock" LED Headlights

If anyone is interested in the LED headlights from Truck-Lite that Quadratec sells for $449 there is a 4WD shop on eBay selling them for $279 shipped. They had 4 left last time I looked.

Default Thanks

Wow..thanks. I was so excited that I found a decent price on them I thought others might be interested. I was headed back over to purchase when I saw your reply.

Obviously I need to learn to read.

Yep. Common ebay problem, especially when they use stock photos. Kinda misleading. You need to really read the ad. Those actually make QT seem like a steal, LMAO

We switched a few into our HMMWVs and honestly, I can say I'm not really impressed. You can get a set of HIDs and housings for less than those.

HIDs don't last nearly as long as LEDs IMHO. The Truck Lite housings are very strong. Most HID bulbs won't even last a year and they don't hold up well to vibrations or moisture.

If I was in a HMMWV, I'd much rather be driving with TLs than HIDs.

Give it time and people will be trying to make it illegal to add LEDs to anything that didn't have them stock.

Olympus LEDs are the only ones that interest me TLs have not impressed me and JWs are so over priced its plain stupid.

Keeping my stock styles. Lol I'm not saying they're a bad product, I just can't justify spending that much on those when I can use it elsewhere. If you have money to buy or just want the looks, by all means, help yourselves.

Surely the Truck Lites are brighter than Silverstars?

I am very glad I replaced mine.
I drive at night everyday so I like to see where I'm going.
