Default steering is worn out, time to upgrade

ok so I have 1996 cherokee

5" lift coils front
3" springs, homemade shackle reloc box, 1.5" shackles (came to just under 5")
ZJ pitman arm (1" drop)
285/75/16 tires
home made track bar and frame side bracket (about 1" drop)

it is a daily driver and hits the trail, so if that matters

anyway got a little pot hole included death wobble, turns out it is the passenger side tie rod on the steering... the big long one that is all one piece

so WHAT would be a good way to go with this? I was thinking heims, cross over

also open to junk yard upgrades

is square tubing safe for use on steering? sure is cheaper, I know it's fine for control arms

98 to 99 durango steering (box has the same bolt pattern but a bigger cylinder)
93 to 98 v8 zj tie rod (solid steel not tubular and tie rod ends are much beefier)
