Default Steering upgrades to compliment my lift..

Whats goin on gents, I have a 90' Cherokee, trimmed and lifted with a double XJ pack w/ autozone shackles, rancho 3.5 coils and zone 2 inch spacers. Id like to say Im at 5.5 inches of lift but Im not really sure. I have the factory steering stabilizer still installed and a bent tie rod thats stock along with everything else. Im running 31x10.50 Goodyears on Canyons which will be changed soon for bigger meats and more offset wheels. The steering and overall feel of safety on the road in my Jeep sucks the big one and Id like to upgrade it/fix it so that Im more comfortable about driving it on the road. An HD tie rod is first up but what else would ya'll recomend? Not trying to break the bank but if it is a necessity I have no problem throwing down cash, was thinking long arms maybe. I have not driven it much on the road but I dont feel much of any vibration but Im not running rear shocks or sway bar at the moment and there is far from anything as far as creature comforts go in my rig, no carpet ect.. Any and all info is much appreciated..

Oh I also have an HP30 laying around, would that help any?

You should already have a HP30, but that won't help with steering but if you were going from LP to HP it would help with the front driveshaft angles.

As far as the steering is concerned, the V8 ZJ steering is a upgrade and a bolt on.

IIRC newer models (96+) got the HP30s and not the older models, whats an easy way to tell?

FrankZ thanks for the PM, highly considering that kit.

They all were high pinion until about 2000 when it went to low pinion. Just look at where the pinion enters the diff, twards the bottom is a low pinion, to the top is high.
