The center joint on my steering hits my passanger side sway bar end-link(its annoying as hell, and does affect the smoothness of steering manuvers). Jeep has 4.5" of lift.... will a drop pitman arm actually solve this problem? Should I get a full 4.5" drop, or would a 3.75" drop be sufficient?

I was told that its the angle and that would solve it by one guy, was told by another guy that its not the issue, my drag link is just bent, had a thid guy tell me neither is true that I just need to deal with lifts and buy a crossover steering kit.... made it guy number four, and he is back to a drop pitman arm.... anyone else have this issue, what is the "right" way to actually fix this issue?

I had the same problem after installing 6.5" lift. You'll have to raze your sway bar mount.

It was fine when everything was first installed, so there may be some bendage on it, and thats to be addressed later, however, lateley, it has been popping and banging more since I replaced the outside u-joints on the axle and the whole system was disconnected. Nothing was changed, and the allignment is the same.... just weird is all. Eventually, I will do a full cross-over conversion anyways, but that is not in the budget right now, for now, I need to just prevent actual further damage, since I dive it daily, and wheel it when I can.

Of curse, that is also on flat ground right now. When either wheel is lifted or lowered, it changes again, and as you can see from the marks on the end-link in the last picture, its been this way for a while....lol

What's your caster angle?

All but factory. With the drop brackets for the control arms, the wheel is centered and caster is almost O.E.M.

Track bar and drag link angles look fine, no need for a DPA.

No, its factory, thats sorta why I am asking if a drop pitman arm would actually solve this issue LMAO....

ALSO, Its the country edition, would that matter?

If that is the case, then how do I go about getting that knuckle away from my end-link? Besides a full crossover kit.....

Two options:
1.) Lower your jeep.
2.) Install a new steering system.

drop pitman arm will lower steering arms some.unless steering up grade is in the budget

And cause the track bar and draglink to no longer be parallel and that means bumpsteer.
