Ok, I have purchased the Currie steering and also a Rock Krawler trac bar with drop bracket on order. Im also doing the Durango steer box using new parts. Does the bracket drop the trac bar dramatically or just replace the factory one? I want to make sure that the Currie and Rock Krawler will be ok together and my angles will not be a problem. I have a drop pitman arm already and running the Rough Country setup, that I cant stand having to replace the tie rod end continuously. I want to buy great products so I dont have problems with the steering when offroad or driving on street. What is the purpose of the drop bracket/bracket for the trac bar? Do I need the kit with the bracket for my setup on 6.5"??

I have the Currie setup and it is great. I have the RE double shear with drop bracket and crossover brace, real beefy track bar. Im at 6.5" and i would say that is the limit for the currie set up.

I was considering dropping my 6.5 lift to the 4.5 so parts wouldnt wear so fast. What is the purpose of a trac bar drop bracket?

To keep your trac bar angle closer to stock and makes it easier to align your axle under a lifted jeep. The trace bar needs to be as parallel as possible with the drag link. This will keep you from death wobble and keeps the steering from fighting the axle and other parts
