Steering column rag joint mod to accept u joints?

So, ive been getting a good clunk and some other scary noises fro my steering shaft lately and it is due to the damn rag joints in the shaft itself.... i had done some research and came upon this picture...
I also know that the borgenson shafts use u-joints... i think this would be a nice fix and upgrade to my steering shaft....
has anyone done this or have any more info on it? i'd hate to dive into something like a chicken with my head cut off...

I'm just an idiot I don't know why I was saying rag joint... But it's not a regular u joint right? If so... Anyone know what size I need to replace Em with...
