Default Steering box support

I run 35s and daily it.

Other than the steering box brace and the steering box spacer.

What else can I get to support the steering box from moving with the 35s?

Have seen bolts snap on other jeeps boxes and bolt hole egg out. Want to support it the best I can.

X2. There's not alot you can do or that is needed. I haven't had an issue in 160,000 miles on 35s with the JCR spacer and theit bumper tie ins.

I've used the Rustys kits on mine for over 2 yrs both frame and brace stiffeners with excellent results.

the steering plate (from JCR or whomever) actually pretty much does nothing to "stiffen". all it does is replace a pot metal decroded piece of crap.

I have finally solved my steering frame issues, and I did it without hydro (although I still want hydro)
unfortunately it took a lot of fabrication

I recommend a beefy track bar brace
a stout front bumper that ties into your steering box bolts
HDO frame plates
HIGH STEER (having flat drag link and steering angles was the biggest factor in removing stress from my steering box)
plate the inner frame rail and bottom if you can (it's actually very easy to do if you can weld)
finally, I'd try the steering box brace last

good luck. I know it's a huge pain but it is solvable

That and hydro assist. I can't wait to try it out and get it going this week. Anything to lessen the stress on that area will help a lot. Full hydro is the best option, but not for a DD.
