Default steering box options?

I am looking into Serious Offroad's utk one ton steering. I would also like to upgrade the steering box. My question is what steering box would be an upgrade from the stock one. I read about the durango box being a beefier upgrade. Is there a certain year I should look for.

If Your asking for a suggestion for an upgrade over stock...Psc motorsports steering box. Dont waste your time with your Chinese reman garbage from parts stores. Been there. Done that. With the psc box i have such firmer tighter steering. No more floppy reman bs. Its pricey, ill tell you right now. For me i cant put a price on overall handling / drivability/ safety/ DW prevention . You might be ok with a reman. IMO its a crap shoot if you get a decent box. Good luck with it.

Absolutely man. I went with their road series 14:1 ratio box. That plus crossover steering using 1.5" tubing w/ knuckles and pitman arm drilled out to fit 3/4" bolts im very pleased. No steering shock= no problem. Im all for doing it right once and being done with it. I suppose the issue w/ reman these days is just poor quality control and lack of precision.

That's what kind of answer I was looking for. Thanks for the reply. Was debating on new replacement from other vehicles such as the durango or upgrades from the after market stores. Now leaning more towards the PSC
