Default starter like grinding or flywheel

Turn key and it grinds sometimes and have To turn back and on again and it starts

U need to check out and see if it is chewing up your flywheel and test your starter at a shop

What stev-o said.. I'd also add that a starter with a bad bendix could test normally electrically, and still not work properly. The bendix mechanism is what 'kicks' the drive gear of the starter into the flywheel. More likely, it could be dirty solenoid switch causing it to have a weak kick. I'd replace the starter

The starter is only like maybe 5 month's. Old. The last on like just quit

Check everything up front for play or wear. Have some one get it and move the steering back and forth. If nothing loose check your control arm bushings to slop. Wheels not being balanced can do it. Loose gear box. Wheels bearings and u joint can do it too

IV changed the tires around and tie rod ends it helped a littel but not all the way and I can't see anything lose IV tryed tightening every thing and its all good but from it having death wobbel it messed up my sway bar. And I think its now the wheel bearing I just needed another opinion

Turn the crank over with a breaker bar and try to start it again. If it cranks and starts it might be teeth missing on the flywheel or starter.
