sputtering stalling and bucking
97, 4.0, 4x4, auto. Terrible spitting and sputtering from 1-2 k rpm. She back fires out of the exhaust, and will start bucking pretty bad, and send a P0206 inj 6 open code on a new injector set. #6 ohmed out good and within spec.
New injectors, fuel pump, ckp sensor, plugs and wires, iac, tps.
I'm leaning toward cam sensor of PCM. What does CF think?

Possibly o2 related. What does the diagnostics computer say beyond the code you posted?
If its an o2 sensor, you might as well do both...
Are you sure the backfire is a the exhaust and not the intake/manifold? Could be fuel delivery issue.. Pressure test fuel and/or check pump and filter.

Forgot to add o2. It was done when the injectors were done. Yes I'm sure its exhaust backfire. I pulled the PCM, let it sit for an hour, put it back in started and revved it. Tps code came up immediately. So that's what I'm going to do.

Gonna keep this updated for whoever. Got a can of starting fluid to spray around the head at idle. Sprayed around, nothing. Straight into the tb, it just dies. Crank it with no success. Hold pedal down, fires right up.
I drove it around town ~2 miles. Ran just fine. Hammered on it, and I drove it soft. Just fine. Got it home, took off the tb, cleaned the iac, and tb cleaned the map tube. It was clogged as hell.
So looking around the intake manifold I see a vacuum line. Pull the hose off it, its dirty. Carb clean sprayed into it, rust and **** came out. My question is wtf was the thing on the intake and the tb? Pics related.
Wanting some clarification on which is the MAP sensor and what the other one is.
