This isn’t what you are looking for, but I too drive a 2-door 5 speed and would love to have a turbo setup. There was a guy on here that had turbocharged his MJ last winter. He had it on the street, was working out the bugs. Maybe he will see this and step in.

what have you got together so far? I turn my own wenches and weld, really can’t afford to pay someone.

I'm sure you're looking for a simple solution to tuning a turbo motor, but stuff like this is a very non-ideal solution. What are you going to do about ignition timing? The 4L motor has no knock sensor, so its critical to have safe timing values.

Default Tuning a 4L for turbo

What I have been told and what I have read over the years you want to use at least two numbers, hotter, spark plug, and one that does not have the multiple grounds. Then on the timing , retard the timing 4° to 6° and run premium fuel when possibles

if this isn’t correct, please tell me

Safeguard knock & timing controls were a hot lick in turbo cars 10 or so years ago.

I have no experience with them just passing along the info.
