This is my 97 Sport Island Heep build. I moved to Hawaii for work and realized quickly I'm not a beach person and not much on over population, so I bought Jeep to help pass the time and prevent island fever. I've been here just over a year and have had island fever after only a month but the project HEEP has helped with that considering it's state when I bought it. For the most part it was stock when I picked it up but has been ran ragged and barely maintained. Neglect is an understatement. This thread will show the progress over the past year and moving forward. Any input would be greatly appreciated since I'm winging it for the most part.

 

First order of business was to replace the worn out leaf springs. Went with OEM and wish I hadn't at this point but you live and you learn. Moving on...
