A lot of people have been asking about the spartan locker for a chrysler 8.25 27 spline (1996 and earlier models). I received an email from complete off road last week saying they would be available in 2-3 weeks. Today I talked with Randy's ring and pionion who told me they were definetly being built now and they should be available at the latest by mid year so keep your fingers crossed.

 

Can't wait. Love their stuff so far

For you guys that have a locker in front, how are they in the snow? Ive been eyeballing a spartan for my d30.

Havent taken mine on paved roads yet but been in snow on dirt trails alot and it does great. turns and grabs very nice. no complaints at all. been anywhere from light snow and ice to about 8 inches of fresh powder.

 

Yep, I kept checking with Aussie, I was considering changing out my axles. But they never would make anymore. Maybe there just isn't enough 8.25's that need them. I thought about the lockright but it was a bit higher than the Spartan, so I held out.
We'll see...I may hate it in the rear, but i won't know till I try it.

 

They don't sell them at Aussie. But you can Find them for the same price if not cheaper on other website.

 

I have to agree that makes no sense at all.
