How much of the stock airbox is needed for one of the "bolt-on" snorkel kits? The previous owner tossed all the OEM air box, tube etc for a cone filter connected directly to the throttle body which makes any future hood vents a problem, and I am trying to decide on a cone filter system with tube and heat shield, or a full snorkle system.
Do I need to make a trip to the junk yard to make a snorkel system work?
