Hey guys I recently installed a snorkel on my jeep and my dad told me to face the breather on top to face the back of the jeep to not allow water in when it rains. This does make sense but all the snorkels I've seen face the front and it looks a lot better. Is it safe to face it forward? Thanks guys

I have one on mine, and I've had it forward in ice/snow/rain. Mines 100% water tight (no way for water to get out if it gets in as well as from the outside) and I've had 0 problems.

But they make these filters you can buy, like screen things. They also have the ball things like what the hummers have.
