Small Lift Help
Hello, I’ve got a 1998 XJ and I’m thinking about lifting it. The rear leafs are sagging and I figured it’s time to replace them, and while I’m at it I was thinking about putting a small lift on it as well. Only thing is that I’ve never messed with anything like this before so I’m not sure where to start. Right now, I was looking at replacing the rear leafs with some OMIX heavy duty leaf springs, and then adding the rough country 1.5” lift. Is this all I need to have a safe lift? I spend most of the time on-road and this is my daily driver so I want it to be comfortable on the road but slightly more capable off road. I’m planning on adding more aggressive tires soon as soon as I can afford them. Also are there going to be issues with anything else, like brake lines, cooling, etc? Figured I’d get some experienced advice before I start breaking everything I touch.
Thanks for any help.
