I'm done arguing. The whole point of a forum is to help people. I pointed out that saving for another 20 bucks a shock makes a huge difference. And this place is NOTHING like pirate, you guys would all start crying if it was. You can't just keep patting people on the back and say "great job kid!" when they're doing something that is potentially dangerous to themselves or other people on the road or they bolt a piece of conduit to their jeep and expect it to do anything besides look stupid and break whatever it's mounted to when it fails.

So keep using your cheap parts and cry ignorance bc they work for you and you don't know any better.

Don't know where you get off saying what you said. Nothing in this Thread topic was mentioned about conduit pipe. Its about Shocks. And I don't see how using Rustys, Rough Country Or any other cheaper brand shock is Potentially dangerous to him or to others on the road.

And this Forum should be about helping people just like you said, But there is a way of helping people better then the way you are going about it. You can word something nicely and go about it in a polite manner.

If you have a problem with a certain product and have valid evidence of why the product is inferior, give the OP advice by saying hey Just to let you know I have previously used thus "product" and these are the problems I had with it. You may want to consider saving a little more money and buy a more superior "product" that way you are only spending money once instead of wasting your money the first time on the other inferior "product" and then have to spend more later.

The way you went about it was just Rude. And is not helping.

Now to the Original person who started this thread, ...I am sorry this all went down in yoir thread I was only trying to help you with your question and try to put a stop to others who can't converse politely.

Hope you were able to get any information out of this thread that was helpful.

Closed. Will clean up later and then maybe just maybe we can get off the drama train and actually act like adults and help the member.

Well that was fast...

Bilstien 5100 or 5150s all the way...

If you're going to buy a cheap shock just go to the parts store and buy the cheapest thing you can find.

There'll be no noticable difference between a $16.99 shock from O'Reilly's and a $39.00 shock from Rusty's. (Guessing on the prices there.)

Spend a bit more and get a good shock the first time around.

All y'all guys that are *****ing and complaining about his advice obviously didn't read it and think about the logic behind it. When you have shocks from rough country or rusty's, you think they ride just fine for a lifted Jeep until you ride in a lifted Jeep with better shocks. I had rough countrys that came with my lift and thought they were fine, then I got bilsteins and its a night and day difference. I'm 17 and understand the concept of save up and spend a little more the first time. If a 17 year old kid who works at a carawash can afford a set of decent shocks, y'all can too.

Holy crap!!! what the heck happened on this thread hahah. I was busy with finals and school work so I havnt been able to check this thread and when I finally do it's 2 pages long and everybody is arguing haha. Well thank you for all your opinions. Due to the negativity about twin tubes, spending the more money for the monotubes is starting to grow on me. I looked into the 5100 from serious offroad and seems like a good option, plus they're currently on sale! Just have to get the extra dough. Thanks for the advice.
