Default Shock Bushings

Ok, I have some shocks already, and need to change them from bar pins to regular bolt through style, I have found nothing on this..

ok. take the bar pin out and slide a bolt through.

The inside is smaller in diameter in the middle.. It looks like an hour glass if I remember right. I thought the threads of the bolt would ruin the bushing, hence the need for a metal sleeve

meh, itll be fine for a fair amount of time. what kind of shocks? if they arent anything special id just FIRI. otherwise, you can buy energy suspension poly shock bushings at autozone/advance/pepboys etc.

buy bolts that have a longer neck and cut them down to the size you need, just enough for a nut and washer. that way the rubber is resting on the smooth portion of the bolt.
