Well long story short when I bought my lift kit from RC it was a 4.5" lift. I added 2" spacers up front/2" Shack Lift in the rear and am currently sitting at 6.5". My shocks are absolute junk ( I did not get the upgraded ones at the time). Was curious if there was a Monroe shock # or another shocks that someone could advise without breaking the bank, or maybe even the newer shocks from RC? Thanks for any advise/experience on the matter

 

All cheap shocks are the same. Get whatever white bodies are cheapest for a xj with 6. 5" of lift

 

Anything else you would suggest then besides the cheap shocks? Not looking for a Cadillac ride but anything is better than these blown out bastards lol

 

A set of bilstein 5125s, probably 12" travel, 255/70 valving. They'll run you 70ish a shock and you'll need stem adapters for the front.
