Shims with hack n tap?

Shims with hack n tap?
Swapping in an 8.25 and doing Ironrock HnT SyE at same time . I had 3 degree shims on the leafs, should I just take them off , or will the help/hurt anything ? Thanks

I am at 4.5in using leafs and relocators and also have an IRO HnT on a Chrysler 8.25. I have 4degree shims and all is good so you should be perfect. You need shims for sure and my guess is 3degree should be fine.
