Im Driving a 95 cherokee 4.0 v6 automatic I let a friend borrow it for the weekend now I cant get it into park I have to get underneath and engage park manually by pulling on a rectangular piece of metal ill post a picture soon anyone know what I need to do?

 

Easy tell your friend to fix it since he drove it and messed something up
