I would figure out how much lift you want out of the front. did the PO tell how big of lift coils he installed? or you might have to do some measureing

Quote: Stay away from large shackles (1-1.5 inches are fine) for your saftey and others please.
^^^ I agree with this..

Quote: Why the f*** are you at 9 inches of lift any way. I think a better idea would be get some small lift shackles and no lift brackets. And drop the front to 6.5.
I guess my advice on the fist page wasn't good and he shouldn't listen to me?
We told him to do the same thing?

No I didn't say that at all, your advice was good. I just get true info from them. I tend to listen to them more then others. Sorry I didn't say you also.. or any one else that told him to do it right..

IMHO you should take the front end down to match the rear. 9" is too much lift unless you have full size axles.

This is just an assumption, but to reach that much lift you probably have some spacers on the front springs. Take those things off. You'll notice a big difference.

his pictures above dont show any spacers the PO built a truss and put purchs higher my guess is that he also has 5" lift coils but would have compare the gap a stock front mount to what he has now. like mine with the hp44 swap I only have zj coils but the front is lifted 5"

Man thats one beefy looking D30, Trusses and modified cover, looks like she could be very stout.

Just a thought as well for the measurement to figure out what the lift is, Measure from the bottom of the tube to the frame rail, Subtract 2" on top of the 6 3/4" you minus from the over all length to find out your true lift height. Should be pretty close and then you can pretty much do a educated guess on the coils so you can figure out what to put the rear at.

Well I don't know about you but I trust my own judgement before others, and others are only consults :P Do your own measurement and see what you get. If you could, would you get a picture of this thing sitting on all 4's level and I'm pretty sure I can ball park it from my XJ for total Lift Height. Mine sits at 5.5" in the rear and 5" in the front and I have almost as much room in the wheel wells as you do in the pix you have up of flexing.

Dunno. Looks close to it. 35's and the stock front flares are still on. Nice gap in the wheel well too. Couldn't tell if it was drop brackets or long arm.
