Default shackles

Does any one know if any other make of shackles will fit on a xj? Like ford dodge or chevy? Or do I have to stick with jeep?

dode dakota one fit with a bit of grinding on the bushing sleeve. theyre 1'' longer than stock xj shackles

I need to lift a little in the back im sittin at about 9" in front and only 5.25 lift in the back so i need to get it a little more level

You can try the rough country shackle relocate will give you about 11/2

you might need to look in to some actually lift shackles plus a relocation brackets or different leaf pack 5.25" to 9" is a pretty big jump

Why the f*** are you at 9 inches of lift any way. I think a better idea would be get some small lift shackles and no lift brackets. And drop the front to 6.5.

We got these at vatozone. Theyre meant to lower chevy pickups but can lift our XJs 1.5-2.5 inchs

I've heard about them too. I've been told that they can fold easier since the Chevy's are a tension set up and hang from them and Jeeps are compression which is the opposite.

I think these are the shackles that get bad reviews from vatozone, which you can tell they would be flimsy

These on the other hand are made like any other shackle. I dont see how they could be weaker than another XJ lift shackle.

I use the autozone rear shackles, the ones that look similar to most lift shackles. Cost me 30 or 40 bucks. I did have to modify them slightly by grinding a slight bit off the bolt sleeve in the bushing. I gained 2in of lift from them
