Default Shackle Relocation Brackets - Any problems clearing the exhaust?

I need to order some shackle relocation brackets. I've got an OME lift and the rear shackles are at about a 10 degree angle when they should be about 45.

I've been looking at these...

http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep-xj-...-kit-1117.html

I'm open to using other brackets if there's something better out there, those are just the first ones that came up when I was searching.

My question is this... Is anyone out there using these and if so did it interferre with your exhaust at all? I've got a 2.5 inch Magnaflow catback (stainless steel) and the last thing I want to do is have to bang it up or anything just to fit these.

Just looking for anyone with experience with these!

Installed a set of shackle relocators yesterday and ran into some clearance during the install. Disconnected the exhaust hangers and flip the bolt around where the nut is facing the outside. Should clear but may have to cuss and use your man hands to make it fit.

My kit came from a vendor on here and very beefy, easy to install and they were in my hands within 3 days of placing the order. I'll give Brian at HDoffroadengineering.com 2 thumbs up

Good to hear you didn't have to do anything like pound a dent in the exhaust or anything. That was my biggest issue is I didn't want to do anything like that.

Don't be such a vag, just cut the damn time back a few inches. I had to cut mine before I even got relocators, when I just had an extended shackle

That RC kit you can't use factory shackles, need extended shackles.

Why the hell would anyone use a stock shackle? Defeating the whole purpose of the kit. OE shackle literally has no swing.. No swing = extremely limited flex.

No stock shackles here. I've got an OME kit and it came with aftermarket shackles.

I have no idea. Maybe the person doesn't want another inch or two of lift on top of the 1.5in that those particular boxes give you? I'm just throwing info out there in case anyone needed it.

Mine rubs a little. The exhaust seems to have enough flex so I haven't bothered to do anything about.

Doesn't work like that. Longer shackles would move forward in the bracket andprovide no additional lift. By your logic, with me the relocation kit, 2.5in lift bastard pack, and 2in lift shackles, I should be at 6in of lift? Yet my jeep sits at 4.5in. That 1.5 in lift is including an extended shackle set to proper angle along with the relocation combined.

If you have a 6in shackle at a 45deg angle or a 2in shackle at a 45deg angle which one is going to sit higher? Come on now. Did you fail geometry?

I have HD Offroad Engineering No-LIft boxes, RC extended shackles, 45* angle, stock exhaust. The exhaust has not been modified, it does not hit or touch the shackle box anywhere.

Update, my RC extended shackle DO hit the shackle box. My shackle angle is at an approximate 45* angle. I don't know if I can/need to turn around the shackle so it might clear it? If not, I might have to trim the shackle box where it touches-I hope not. They are THICK!

Not real smart. A good way to get exhaust fumes in the cabin. Looks like a, "this will be easier if I just cut it" sort of decision.

I second the HD Engineering Brackets - Best design I've seen so far.

Mine is dumped under the passenger seat. No exhaust fumes in cabin.
