That's my thoughts too.
I'm guessing HD would be a better bet if one choose to go factory shackles.

Or if you already have RC just trim them. Gotta love the Genius behind the RC products. Nothing works as good as the competitors counterpart. Hehehe.

Is there anyway to use these relocators and not gain that much of a lift? I'm at 6.5 with 6.5 leaf packs, so I wouldn't mind relocating the shackles, but I don't want to go that much higher and become unstable on the trails.

You could always take a leaf out and run the brackets. Then add a longer shackles if you sit too low in the rear with the stock shackles. That will make it ride nicer and flex better as well.

Hmm.. I could.. I'll see how it rides, then consider it.

I have 2" lift shackles in the rear and my rear was still lower then the front. When I got the RC brackets, I put the shackle in the hole closet to the front to help with the shackle angle, ride, and droop. It did level the Jeep out, so I would say about 1.5" of lift, but it worked out great overall.
