Default shackle questions

im in the process of puttin my jeep back together from doin my lift and i was wondering if there is a left and a right shackle or if they are the same. does it matter what way they go on? thanks for all of your help with all my questions

If its aftermarket shackles with grease fitting then which ever way you can get to grease it easier. If the shackles is open on one side and solid on the other put the open side facing forward. It doesn't make a difference which side they go on.

By open side to the front and solid side to the rear i mean this

is that the autzone lowering shakle that actualy can be used to lift?

that is a Superior Automotive 13-4100 shackle... cost about 35-40 out the door and most major autoparts stores...

ok thanks guys for the help. i just gotta try and find out the size of the bolts for the leaf springs and shackles and then ill be able to put everything together. thank you again for the help
