Default Shackle question

Hey guys I started my lift today. I installed some unknown brand boomerang shackles in the rear. Now, from what I read, my shackles are 6" eye to eye and should give me about 1.5" lift over stockies. Please school me on why this combo with used RE 3.5" leafs netted me around 7"'of lift??

Help?

Re springs are notorious for staying higher than advertised, you can expect those springs to give 4-4.5 inches plus your shackles

A 6" shackle will give 1 1/2" lift. The springs will settle or they sent you the wrong springs and the shackle just aggravates it.

your stock springs were probably sagged a bit, the new springs made up for that, and the RE springs always give more lift than advertised.
