Default 3inch lift question

im getting ready to install a 3inch lift with 31 inch tires on my 99 xj do i need to do anything with the rear sway bar mounts?

Get rid of them along with the rear sway bar.

+1 the rear sway is useless. Especially with a stiff leaf pack. Just keep the front. Get some discos if your going to DD it

Discos for the front maybe. I wouldn't waste money on a rear disco.

I have yet to run a front or rear sway bar.

Its not recommended for everyone, but its pretty common.

Ok I appreciate all the info I had a 96 with a 4.5 in lift I cant remember if it had a rear sway bar or not.

Its mostly gonna be a dd with light off road use. Just wanna make sure its safe when I have the fam with me

Rear will be fine without. Get discos for the front.
