I grabbed some JY hood vents off a Grand Cherokee that looked stock? Any ways they have a bottom plate to make the install look clean. Just wondering where they would have the most benefit? It looks like my options are limited anyways as I do not want to cut through the hood supports. So I am guessing closer to the center, close to the windshield... Please let me know you thoughts or suggestions.. thanks guys!

Those look like they came off a grand 5.9 limited. I would say by the windshield toward the center like you said because of the hood bracing. That is the most common.

Went as far back as the bottom bracket would allow, and kept parallel to center line on the hood about 3.5" away. Took forever to decide and measure, but once that was done just drilled some pilot holes then a step bit. The stock Grand had about 6 holes, I will prob drill 12 2" holes in the center.
