Default Scary noises

Ok I got a 99 Xj with a 3 in lift and no tcase drop when I drive it I can't tell if its my tires giving vibes or the drive shafts should I lower my transfer case?

what kind of vibes? explain a little more whether its being felt in ur butt feet or in steering have you checked your u joints?

But really we do need more info here buddy, do you notice it when you are on the gas, when you let off the gas, does it vibe worse the faster you go, does turning the wheel change the vibe

Ok it's louder when I let off the gas it's almost like a rumble and it feels like everything's vibrating

rear driveline vibrations.

t-case drop will help, but you will lose ground clearance

sye is the way to go and completely eliminate the vibrations.

Ok and how do I check the u joints have a feelin those r goin bad too

That's the angle it's at looks like its pullin the back of the transfer case down

drive line vibration your pinion angle is off when did you last check motor /trans mounts?

To check u joints lay on ur back under Cherokee and push up on drive shaft near either end one side at a time you can also sometimes spin drive shaft while in park or in gear to see if there is play just remember to keep engine off and Jeep in park or gear before sliding underneath

Haven't checked trans mounts ever motor mounts look ok
