Will an add a leaf 3" lift kit look and function ok with my saggy rear springs? Also what 3" lift do u like. Im looking at rustys kits but not sure
From what I gathered from reading numerous posts on this topic is that the AAL is a band-aid that will eventually sag since your originals are already weak and sagging.
Best to get full spring packs or make a bastard pack.

You also have another option. I can't speak to the logevity of it yet, but I built a AAL/Bastard pack hybrid.
3ea S10 Blazer leaf springs, 1ea new AAL, 1ea Original XJ Main. Couldn't afford new packs (best option) and didn't want to do just the AAL (worst option to most with sagging leafs).

If you have the money get full packs. That is always the #1. Second would be bastard pack. Third would be AAL. I would not suggest running one with crappy packs.
