Shouldn't I feel vacuum at the top of the snorkel??
I know I could damn near get my hand sucked in at the throttle body. I'm thinking with the more space between the intak and the TB there would be less vacuum. But I would just like to hear it from someone who has one. Even with a lot of throttle I don't feel it up there.
I have a Safari Snorkel to the stock intake with the Percolator Blue air filter.
C'ffee C'mmando~ (as the French would say it)

There's a big difference between suction at the throttle body and suction at the end of a snorkel - for starters, I bet the entrance (and tubing) of the snorkel is well over 2" in diameter, right?
Secondly, when you're putting your hand over the throttle body directly, you've got a lot less area for that suction to act upon than when your hand is at the end of the tube. The force generated by the suction will be the same, but the stress per unit area is much less, simply because there's much more area involved.
If you were to put your hand directly on the throttle body, then put it on the end of the accordion tube that goes to the stock airbox, you'd note the same thing happening (only to a much lesser degree - that stock tube is only, what, a foot long or so? Your snorkel is probably closer to five or six feet in effective length.)

That doesn't answer my question. I covered it completely for a few seconds and didn't feel anything. The engine might as well had been off.

Nevermind, I DO feel some vacuum up there. I had too many adult beverages to feel it in my hands last night I guess.

Also need two 2" couplers as well. Everything else was there. Had to use some epoxy to glue the airbox mount on it. Wasn't too hard to do. About a day of taking your time if you don't mess anything up.
The vendor I bought it from on Amazon was "Rexypow". It also got to me over a week earlier than all the other places charging at least $60 + for theirs.

depends on you. If you do a lot of light night baja'ing then a snorkel doesn't concern you. If you live in a louisiana bayou then you might want a snorkel.
