Question Rusty's trackbar bracket work with IRO trackbar?

I have a Rusty's double sheer track bar bracket, and it looks VERY similar to IRO's offering. I'm trying to cut costs wherever I can, so I'm hoping somebody might know if IRO's DS trackbar will work with the Rusty's bracket?

In theory if they're both just straight bolt ons, shouldn't they work with each other?

As stated by "young33", "in theory" they sb the same. To my thinking it depends on whether or not both companies use/d the same length, and or ID, bushing sleeve. Bracket holes can always be enlarged, much easier than reduced and brackets can always be widened (with pinch/crow bar) or narrowed (by shimming w/washers or tightening the feces out of the track bar retaining bolt).
If either company, at all, made their brackets to the OEM inner dimensions all is golden.

Any thing can be made to work. It all depends on your skill set and available tools.

Well, It's a beefy bracket and I don't want to try and bend it to stuff a trackbar in there. Is there any easy way to tell if they would use the same bushings?

Probably not. Find someone with an uninstalled IRO track bar and have them, using calipers so you have an EXACT dimension, measure the full length of the bushing sleeve. Then measure, also with a set of calipers for the same reason as stated above, the ID of your bracket.

This should tell you which way you'll need to go with the bracket dim and/or the sleeve dim.

(Another possibility....there is a Rusty's bar/bracket set up currently listed on ebay. Maybe you could ask the guy to measure the bushing sleeve of the Rusty's bar, then compare it to the IRO bar.)

Well, I do still have a broken Rusty's trackbar. I could just measure that myself. Now to find somebody that has an IRO!

Would you be able to get the inside measurement of where it attaches to the bracket?
