Default rustys tcase skid fit problem?

just got the new design rustys 231 t case skid, iv read the instructions 15 times and have managed to decpher through all the typos and figured out how to fit it. but 1 of the bottom/vertical 2 holes that use self tapping screws lines rite up with a hole already in the frame rail and is to big for screws, and it is vertical so i cant slide a bolt in there. what should i do just mount it without that one screw and hope it holds or what???

I would send that back to rusty and put an "F" on the instructions and circle all the typos in red pen with a note to "see me after class" also include a letter to tell them what you went threw so that they can fix the fitment problem and send you the proper unit that fits correctly. New and improved means squat if it don't fit.
Maybe call rusty's and see if they can help over the phone, maybe your jeep has a hole where their mock up rig did not.

well i decided to just mount the 3 bolts where it fits best.. it seems the 2 horizontal screws and 2 crossmember bolts are what really holds it on.. just would be nice to get a part that fits properly.lol

When modifying vehicles not everything will fit like it should due to so many factory changes you never hear about. Simple solution for you would be use a bigger screw?
