I just bought the rustys adjustable sway bar discos and I can't figure out how you're supposed to store them once disconnected. Isn't there supposed to be a bracket that you drill into the wheel well to hook them up to so they don't just free hang after you disconnect them?
I ran into the same when installing my discos . I read where it said to mount to the skid plate but my XJ doesn't have one. So I improvised. I picked up these L shaped brackets at Tractor Supply , Drilled a hole in them for the pin and mounted them just to the rear of the Sway bar bushing bracket. There is a factory threaded hole there that wasn't used and the bracket fits perfectly. When disconnected and attached to the pins , they hold the sway bar right up next to the frame and out of the way. Total cost for the 2 brackets and 2 lock nuts for the allen head bolts that hold the pins was less than $6. Here are a few pics. White coating on pins is grease . makes disconnecting and re-connecting much easier.
