Default Rustys Steering or ZJ tierod?

I bent my tierod few months back and upgraded to the solid ZJ rod. I got the Autozone one with a lifetime warranty. I have even already bent that and just taken in and got a replacement. I bought a Rustys HD Tierod and Drag off my buddy that upgraded to a 44 . I wanted to use just the Drag since I have a lifetime replacement on my ZJ tie. Ends up It's a different setup. So my question is do I just keep my stock drag and run the unlimited free replaceable ZJ tie, or do I throw on the Rusty's Drag and tie and Keep the ZJ rod as a spare?

Thanks

bent a v8 zj tie rod? havent heard of that one yet. I'd just run the zj tie rod and sell the rustys stuff if you can.

Yea I was testing my lockers climbing a concrete storm drain thing in the rain, tire slipped off and full weight landed on the ZJ rod.

All you need is a zj tie rod, adjusting sleeve, and driver side tie rod end.

I just went to a junk yard and grabbed a used ZJ tie rod (old adjusting sleeve and all). I bought a "house parts" TRE and slapped it on there. works great except the TRE is already shot. buy MOOG

Ok , so I am seeing the consensus as Keep my ZJ rod and stock drag, and sell the Rustys?

Also RGibbs, it has to be a 8Cyl Zj, was $67 total at auto zone for the rod, sleeve and TRE. And all has a lifetime replacement.

that rusatys setup is pretty decent. ive been running mine for 9 months now and havent bent it or worn the joints out. its a little bit of a pain to align due to how the draglink bolts to the tierod.
