Rusty's hd tb noise.
I have a rusty's hd track bar, and it pops like a mad man whenever I turn. It's all tight, it just binds up. Anyone else run in to this?

I would bet that it's popping from the unibody mount. Have someone turn the wheel while your laying underneath to see of anything is binding. When you put the tb, was it a tight fit, or did it slide right in on the unibody side? you may have to get a spacer for the unibody.

it is probably a wallowed out bolt hole on the axle end. have someone look or you video tape it when turning back and forth.
it is really common as you need to constantly torque it down

Also, mine came with a smaller bolt than factory on the axle end. that could be causing it too, I'd try and use the factory bolt instead, see if that worked.

locktite never hurts either! It sounds like it could defiantly be the axle side. I always thought that those HD track bars were a little under engineered on the axle side when compared to the mounting system to the unibody!
